Wow, is it really August? The summer has been flying by. Hopefully you are all doing well. For the past month, thing were pretty similar to previous months. Think or Swim once again took the top spot (by a large margin, although I won't disclose just how much). There was a lot of interest in Merrill Edge as they are still fairly new. Anyway, hope this list will help you find a better stock broker for yourself.

For June 2010, the most popular brokers based on page views were as follows:

1. Think Or Swim (unchanged)
2. Just2Trade (unchanged)
3. Zecco (up 1)
4. Speed Trader (down 1)
5. ETrade

Think or Swim once again took the top spot followed by Just2Trade. Zecco and Speed Trader stayed on the list from last month, and ETrade is making a first time appearance. Take this list as a starting point for your own broker search.

For May 2010, the most popular online stock brokers on this site based on unique page views were as follows.

1. Think Or Swim (unchanged)
2. Just2Trade (unchanged)
3. Speed Trader (unchanged)
4. Zecco (up 1 from last month)
5. Sogo Trade (down 1 from last month)

The top three brokers once again were unchanged. Think or Swim seems to be very popular on this site, and I believe it's because there is a very well written review by 17g33k posted on its page. Just2Trade and Speed Trader both offer low commission rates but are relatively unknown, which I assume is why people are researching those two brokers so much. In any case, the rankings were very similar to the month before.
