Google's Game Changing Move

I saw a post on engadget.com today titled "The Game Has Changed". The blog post didn't have any text, just an image of the Garmin and TomTom charts after Google announced free turn by turn directions through their maps application on Android mobile devices. Some of the comments suggested the game is over more than merely changed.
As a web developer, stock market enthusiast, and internet junkie, I can't help but be in love with Google. Even though they can obliterate whole companies with new technology, they still continue to churn out impressive data driven products and make enormous profits quarter after quarter. They're gobbling up the world one bite at a time, but I just can't hate them. I've always kept an eye on Google's stock price ever since their unconventional dutch auction style IPO. Anyway, below is a snapshot of the action today with GRMN, TOM2, and GOOG.
