I have been trading with TD Ameritrade for over 10 years now. They have been very good at answering any questions I have had throughout the years. They recently have given me Thinkorswim at no additional cost. You can search for many different stocks to purchase very quickly using the criteria you select. There charts are excellent if you wish to follow moving averages (MACD), bollinger bands, and many others. You can use candlesticks and other charting options. There is so much to choose from in Thinkorswim that it can become overwhelming. I like the old saying "keep it simple stupid" and it works for me. You might like all the technical analysis available but it will take awhile to figure it out. TD Ameritrade also offers several online free classes and is willing to help the newcomer learn. They have several trading options available for one trade such as if, then. Meaning if one thing happens in a trade it triggers another trade. You can choose a stop that follows your equity and many other possibilities. Level II quotes are included and I consider them very helpful. If the $9.99 trading price is good for you then you should consider going with them. Hopefully I have been clear and answered some questions about TD Ameritrade. Good Luck Trading!

Transactions are executed timely and accurately. Fees per trade could be lowered to compete with other online trade sites.

No complaints. Have the ability to deal with all the types of transactions I want to deal with (including options, which I haven't gotten into yet), and ECH transfers in and out go quickly and consistently. At tax time, I have all the information I need readily available at my fingertips.
